There are many types of support that people may need with regards to sexual health. Our aim is to be able to meet these support needs. If you feel that you would like to avail of support, please come and discuss this with a member of our team.
If for any reason you are unable to come into the project, we can arrange to meet you somewhere else.
Examples of the type of support we have provided in the past are:
- Accompany people to the STI clinic for testing and/or results
- Support and information around a new diagnosis
- One on one training for condom, glyde dam, female condom and glove use
- Personal discussions about relationships and emotional or mental sexual health
- Prevention information for family members and partners
- Referrals to other organisations
- Support for dealing with other organisations (Advocacy)
- Contact with other people who may have had similar issues
In order to access support you can call in to the project and make an appointment with a member of staff or call our confidential helpline 061 316661 during office opening hours.
The project can also provide counselling and complementary therapies to project clients.
